Waited about a day and a half and started to sand everywhere I applied epoxy and fiberglass.

I will be sealing the entire inside of the boat and adding a turn fin support next.

I used a 1/8" hard ply support for the turn fin.
I would have been easier to have done this prior to installing the bottom skin on the sponson but I managed to get it on there with a little help from some scrap wood.

I applied 1 coat of MAS epoxy to everywhere except for the area that will be cut out from the bulkheads once the decking is installed.

After speaking with a few people in regard to the need to thin the epoxy prior to coating the inside there was mixed opinions.

I decided not thin the epoxy any I put on a thin layer and used a heat gun to spread the epoxy it worked out well.

I also made up some doublers for the wet area on bulkead C (the outside of the back of the sponson).

The reason I did this is because I used light ply for the bulkhead and since it is a little on the soft side I figured it would be best to use some 1/32 ply as a doubler and keep the skins consistent.

In order to make sure I got a good fit I applied some tape and cut it oversized as my template which I peeled of as a guide to cut the doublers.

I then used some tape and clothes pins to hold it together while the epoxy set.

Waited a few hours for the epoxy to soak in and start to tack up I then applied a second coat to seal everything nicely on the inside.

Picture after it has all dried nicely.

Next I will be adding pink foam.

I would go for a lifter prop, my unlimited 1/16 just falls into a "hole" when starting slowly, after that, it is hard to pick up speed without stopping, and starting right up on plane, passing the drop point that creates resistance on the rear end of the boat, although i do have a carbon prop, that could be the problem.. don't think its' a lifter

Sounds like you don't have it setup correctly

Hydros need lifter props, it's hard to describe, mine is too back heavy i think, i'm working on that now though

The Octura X447 works well as also the graupner 45 works ok but the 447 is better. Remember these boats turn left and require Right Hand props

Out of the blue you just started talking about props so I was a bit confused.

                      I plan to run a modified 447R

Sorry, I read a post about you deciding on props a while back, I don't even know if it was in this thread.

Lookin' good! I'm about down to final details, Hardware mock up has been done, Need a nice warm weekend so I can spray some clear, then the testing begins!
Vet bills interfering with finishing this boat. Have a dog with a swelling face, now we're chasing allergies. Damn thing is acting completely normal but looks like it went a few rounds with St. Pierre! 280$ yesterday and yet another visit at 3:30 today!
Ya that kid has been trying to get that 1/16 hydro running right for a couple of years now, he started out with it on another forum, think he's about 12 or so.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Sorry to hear about your dog hope he is doing better!!

Found some time this weekend to get more work done.

I put 1/4" balsa around the edges of the front of the boat to add more gluing surface when installing the deck.

I also added some 1/2" triangle balsa in the back part of the boat as there really isn't much surface area there to glue to.

Someone once said to me tape is your friend and it has worked well so I continue to use it. The more the better as I do not want things moving around while glue is setting and I do not have a bunch of clamps/clips around so this works well for me.

I lightly sanded the boat where the foam will go I then spread gorilla glue then installed the foam that has been rough cut to shape.
I will remove the tape and my weights (paint cans) once dried and cut/sand smooth.
