You will probably want to stay away from your bigger props. I basically had the same setup with a CC Hydra 240 and my caps ran pretty warm, too warm for the summer. My final prop was the 440 3 blade..Mine ran 53 mph and looked as if it could handle more speed. Your hardware setup will determine how fast you will be able to take that boat......Like Fluid says , it does run light....Here is a couple pics of mine. If I built this boat again I would use my own motor mount and put closer to the transom, run a offset rudder, use ''Super epoxie" and build my own turn fins from 2mm CF.....Basically how I am doing the Rico...ha ha...My old Titan was able to handle 50 + with never a blow over in semi calm weather ! If you want a link to the vid I can do.."Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction."

Thanks for the advise, I have to wait for batteries and a few other things and then I'll start trying a few, I ordered the m545 which from with all the reading I found a few folks were happy with it.Originally posted by Alexgar View PostI tried the x442 and it worked ok but everything was cool went 445 545 646 and was really happy with the latter two warmed up my wire alittle but with a 200 amp discharge rate and 2 water pickups it came in alright
