Thanks guys!
GP- this is the first I've heard of Callie graphics. Looks cool, but they need a boat section. =)
Here's a few shots of the River Cat in pearl white;
I've done my best to keep the graphics out of the taping areas.FighterCatRacing Team CHING BLING - Ching Bling. Brilliant, Advanced Sparkle for your hull.

I like the white.
Gives a real clean look with the black decals.
Who is making your decals? I have a local guy that does great quality work but I can't seem to get him motivated. They do alot of vehicle wraps so I guess a guy with little toy boats is not important.

Same guy that used to do all my motorcycle racing stuff. He does wraps, designs, etc. I'm tempted to bring him a hull and see what he can do with it. He hasn't seen the hulls yet.Originally posted by chummer View PostI like the white.

Hey, that might not be a bad idea. Bet he could come up with something really cool and original.Originally posted by FighterCat57 View PostHe does wraps, designs, etc. I'm tempted to bring him a hull and see what he can do with it. Still working the pricing, can't tell until all the parts are in house. Target pricing suggestions are welcome. It really varies on configuration.Originally posted by keithbradley View PostWow fighter that white hull with black lettering looks delicious

Of course...different setups for the rich and the poor...
Knowing your style, Im guessing you are going to equip these with outrunners?
I would suggest something to target the same market that the traxxas boat would (allthough that seems to be a bit of a mythical creature). You could have higher end models as well but I think the lower price range would be cool.
I dont know if the site would allow it or not, but I think it would be cool to raffle one off.

Yeah, the outrunners seem to be the best bang for the buck. I'm thinking I can get the "sport" models in the Traxxas price range. But, the twins are going to be tough. There's double the drive train and electronics... No way I'm going cut corners for cost like someOriginally posted by keithbradley View PostOf course...different setups for the rich and the poor...

Great minds think alike. I have a pair of their outrunners in hand ready to test.Originally posted by JMSCARD View PostYeh I would talk to castle and find out how many 1518's, 1520's, 1717's they got left and turn them into a fc powertrain option list...lol... Really though:)
I've already tested the 1518 in the River and leaving room for the 1518-1520 in the Daytona...FighterCatRacing Team CHING BLING - Ching Bling. Brilliant, Advanced Sparkle for your hull.

I dont think anyone should expect a well built boat with twins to be in that rangeOriginally posted by FighterCat57 View PostYeah, the outrunners seem to be the best bang for the buck. Which outrunners did you get? I used one of the 770kv versions for a nitro rs4 brushless conversion. Ive tested it out front and it works well...I will be going to the big lot today to test its top speed (not sure if I will go to the trouble of GPS today though). I think the 1100kv would be better suited for my app but the 770kv works ok, just need a little extra voltage..
They have that one 34-34 but its only 450kv...I wish they had some of the larger cans in higher kv.
What about these:

Someone overseas will be carrying them soon. Castle isn't planning on making more.
The typhoon has 22 amp rated 16ga wiring.
The 3126 Suppo Heli motors I have are rated at 1500watts.

Just send them an email and they might just add a boat section for you!
Jokes aside: as far as I know thy are pretty active in the RC community, I wouldn't be surprised if they were more than willing to create decals for boats.
And as for as pearl white: I'll take one thanks!
