I hope they do!! I might have to swap out a T600 880kv for a 1400kv in one of my boats if they don't by spring.

Fighter I like the colors.... the only thing I don't like is how the stripes come to an end when you get to the hatch... makes it look unrefined and unfinished.... otherwise everything looks AWESOME.... just trying to be honest.... it looks like the hatch is a replacement of one that was lost as the stripes just end? and the stripes maybe should go around the bubble windshiled.... basically where the windshield would be they could swoop around and that way buyers could either paint a windshield in or decal it? you don't want to cut out the people who are after the "scale" look.... would lessen your chances of grabbing all market share you can .....:) Like I say its just what I think.... lets hear what others have to say..? I like the FighterCat decals down the side of the boat for sure.... maybe you could incorporate the stripes going behind the writing? lol....

Cool. I've been thinking about it like racing strips on the hood of a car. Some just decor the hood and leave the rest solid color. The finish is Acrylic Lacquer, so can be painted over, added to, or left as is. I'd like to establish 30% and let the customer finish as they like. Also, EVERY boat will be available with a bare hull option to let the imagination flow and paint as pleased. =)

I agree with JMSCARD: the stripes are nice but ending at the hatch is kind of weird, it would be nice if they could flow around the hatch or the canopy, but I'm sure painting curves is a PITA.

Perhaps, dark gray metallic with black windows and black lettering. Sort of a mad max approach. I could put a ship load of 1mm screws in the hatch around the window.

What about that green on the new Camaros?I think its a limited color option and can be had only on 6 cylinder models.Try that with a white bottom and maybe the white decals and the canopy window black.

Went dark gray metallic with silver decals. Working on a window frame that I can screw in place with a bunch of little screws. Not quite Mad Max, the Clear Effex turned the gray into a kind of purple-ish color. Not bad, but not mean looking, so might have to keep with the machine-like scheme. It's a very metallic looking finish.

Right now, I'm thinking the one on the bench will be metallic pearl white, black letters, black window and one nice long pinstripe along each side to hide the hull seam.


I keep killing my own stock! It might be hard finding a buyer for each experimental paint job!

Looks hot either way but I would prefer a windsheild. I really like the red one you did, that color looks great on this hull.

As far as the stripes go, I wouldnt make them go around the hatch, I would just stop them at the canopy bubble and continue on behind it (If you want stripes).

Anybody know a good way to paint on a windshield? I'm having a bitch of a time and keep getting the tap crooked. Honestly that's the reason only one hull has had a window. They're kind of a bitch to get straight. I was hoping to make a vinyl decal for the window, but I'm even having a tough time making that pattern. Sounds silly, but sometimes there's some detail that I get hung up on. Windshields have been one of those things.

I'd really love to have a bolt on windshield accessory.

yeah probly. try some different shapes or angle the back edges of the windsheild a different way. small changes
