I'm quite curious about the handling and how you get it sorted, COG, stinger angle, etc.

Stinger angle is neutral, and I'll get the cog and post it with a video.

Wow... That's amazing. Great job. I honestly did'nt think it was possible to pull those kinda speeds running 6S on a hull this size. I would have thought bigger voltage. Goes to show what I know.LOL.

Finally got a chance to run it yesterday. Only got a couple of passes before it began to lose power. Limped it in and removed the hatch. The stuffing tube was pretty hot. Then I touched the collet. It was blazing hot???? I thought the 7/32 stuffing tube was too small and causing the brass to overheat, but why was it cutting out? Come to find out the collet was tight but the flex would still spin inside the collet. So thats where all the heat was coming from and why it seemed like it was cutting out. It was just slipping.

Apparently I had the flex cable run all the way inside the collet until it hit the motor shaft and the collet wasn't getting a good bite at the end. So I cut about 3/4 inch off the flex and re installed the cable and tightened the collet.

Today I gave it another shot. It ran smooth and fast without any issues this time. GPS was acting up so I had to run it a second time to get a good speed reading. It ran 50.3 mph on the x452. My temp guage battery was low so I kept getting error messages when trying to get a temp reading. But all components were barely warm to the touch. And the stuffing tube that I've been worried about was as cool as a cucumber! The osprey is kinda hard to keep in a straight line at high speeds because the rounded hull bottom with no ride pad makes the boat want to teeter left and right a bit. But its kinda cool having a large hull that can handle a little chop without having to worry about flipping. Next is more prop testing and a video. I'll try to get one up this weekend.

Got a carbon 54mm & 57mm from ose for testing today. Once I figure out the right prop, I'll probably have egneg fix me up with a nice S&B brass prop.

Almost done. Got the stinger bushing in correctly(thanks baked). Routed all the water lines. Prepped the 180 for an rx pack. Servo linkage hooked up.Rx waterproof and secured. All that's left is a couple of holes in the transom I forgot to epoxy and a final tub test, and cooling line test. I should have it on the water this weekend!!
