must be mine was the first batch. It's strange. It just quit. Ran for about 30 seconds on the second run, got super hot, and quit.

Oh dude im sorry to hear that...

            1. because it sucks to hear something like an ESC has gone west]
            2. because I was on the edge of buying one from OSE

Got the replacement from Steven. Not sure, but I think HE may be modding these now. He sent me a new Swordfish 240, but it has 8 gage leads for motor and battery side now. Single leads for pos/neg instead of 2 small 14 gage wires each. It also has a clear shrink with no label. Added my CF motor jacket too while she was sitting. Gonna go for a rip tomorrow. same setup. 9s2p, x455 stock prop just s@b. Hopefully The new speedy stays nice and cool!

quick run on break this morning. The lake was choppy! Ran for about 2 mins. I changed the timing from auto to medium, and startup from normal to hard. This boat is a freaking rocketship! I couldnt even get close to wot, but it seemed to have way more punch than previous runs. This boat def has the potential to break 70mph! Best part is everything ran very cool! Even all over the throttle in chop esc was 123, motor was 115, and the batts didn't heat up a tad. Going to run in a glassy pond after work. Hopefull, i'll see how well she can turn and get some wot passes. I see some 10s saw runs in the future!

I'm ot sure if it was my old one, or a new on with diff wires, but it seems fine. Ran on the lake again. Pond is covered in liliy pads. Found a "calm" cove. Problem is, rollers come in, and they are too hard to see while driving. Opened her up a few times. Holy SH$*!! It does fly! Turns very well at speed. Theeeeeennn, CATASTROPHE! I hit one of those rollers at WOT. Instinctively, it let off throttle. It caused the bow to plunge and it stuffed. HARD. It shot back out of the water in a spectacular fashion, and immediately sank up to the bow. I guess I know I have enough flotation. Water was only waist deep, so I waded out to it. The batteries broke free of the velcro, busted the straps (all of them). And broke my rear cowl locks. ( bPOS Aquacraft palstic ones). Canopy stayed mostly on, but a lipo was wedged between the hatch and hull. EVERYTHING came unplugged! Motor from esc, all the lipos. Everything but the rx pac. Good thing I guess, nothing had the chance to short out. Seems like everything may have survived. We'll see after it's all dried up. Gotta love it!

I've gotta figure a way to secure the lipos. I may have to fab up some holders that screw down.
