I like that ozzie. I used to have nitro tunnels. I want an electric one one day. Keep us informed about how it is on the water please.

I know where you are coming from m8. I done 2 laps this morning with a boat that only done 33 kph and it was fun.
What is the lower unit the motor is sitting on. I would like to keep my eyes open for one of those to put away for the future. It looks strong enough for a Neu.

its the hyperformance bullet drive, i dont have all the parts for it yet but enough so i can build the box section and work out c.o.g etc

well for a metal fabricator my wood skills surely suck but here is some progress pics, remember this is still work in progress

Like me Ozz it took a long time to work out I could just not rip it with the plasma and tig it up !! Who said you can not teach an old welder new tricks!!!!!

if only i could have made it from s/steel or alloy then it would have looked real sweet.
good job the rest of it was already built and the cowl will cover my not so handy work

funny you should say that as i have polished it now,not 100% happy with it so may redo.
will get it back togethor and take some pics,jf it stops raining.

I thought about how one would go about doing that, and by the looks of the drive I thought one might need to sand all the little bumps down first before getting anywhere near a benchtop polisher.
