Thank you Jedi. That map on the dash is the germany waterways map I shrunk down.

Today she underwent her first tub test and leaked where the wings enter the hull. I remember scraping away some silicone on the wing bulkheads years ago, and that was where the leaks were. 5min epoxy resolved that. Tub test #2 was a complete success. Hazegry gave her a push and she rose out of the water with little effort. I have to commend Racer504 for the awesome repfabrication of the wings!!!

      FYI:
Anyone wanting one of these hydrofoils, I found one HERE.
I don't know how long it'll be available because of it's rarity, but also it's price tag. $424USD + shipping from Austria

If I had the money, I'd be all over this one (new in box) WOW

That is just too cool! I was wondering if (hoping) they would work out for you.

Okay, I hacked up a $3 micro servo and made this radar. Does anyone think I should spend the time tweaking this more to use on this model?

Danny you really should slow down on this build... I can't quite keep up!

Very nice looking; do you have any links to the real McGee?

Sweet radar, nice speed. Thad seems to be the challenge with those buggers.

                      Thanks Jesse.
4 years in the works, I need to catch up on her completion.

HERE's the only existing images of the real ones that I know of.

Keep in mind, I'm building this one as if the German waterway police reactivated these today. There was never a #5, but mine is 5 because it's my favorite number

You should spend more time tweaking the clothes pin!

You sure got an eye for detail! You're not planning to make genetically enhanced micro police are you?

Thanks for that Danny! Really makes me wanna dig out my old abandoned hydrofoil project... But since I am in a land of year round boating... Might not happen for a while. Love those pics and am glad to see you making headway (at whatever rate)!
