Hi RANDY
I just bought this hull & would like to convert it . http://cgi.ebay.com/1-8-scale-Miss-E...item335a10885a . I like the setup you did on yours & would like to do the same . I was thinking i would use the same motor you did . How much would it cost to make another mount like the one you made in your boat ?. Also how do i figure out were to place the mount in the boat ?. Thank'sLast edited by rchippie; 02-17-2010, 02:10 PM.

You can buy the parts from me and I will help you all the way. The ESC is from HobbyKing.com There is a bit to do but in the end it was worth it. Motor mount is $25.00Originally posted by rchippie View PostHi RANDY

I would like to use the stock proboat hardware if possible. So i dont have to drill any new holes in the hull. Unless there is better stuff that will bolt into the stock location, & is not super expensive . I will have to do this in stages do to finances . Do i call the shop to place a order ?.Last edited by rchippie; 02-17-2010, 03:59 PM.

Check the bottom of the strut to the bottom of the hull this will determine whether you need new hardware or not. It needs to be 1.364 of a inch or 1 and 11/32ND of an inch. It will nor run right unless it is set at this height. I is all so necessary to have a 1/4 inch cable stepped down to 3/16. You can call me at 925 209 9572.Originally posted by rchippie View PostI would like to use the stock proboat hardware if possible. So i dont have to drill any new holes in the hull. When you say 66% left in the packs was that from the total of the 10 000
or was that 66% usable that was left
I know some of the pack checkers will say 0% when there is still the 20% left

I have found that having 25% to 30% left on my gauge is better for the cells, going below that damages the cells.Originally posted by eboat View PostRandy

Its not only run time you have to consider,,,running in a 1P configuration will stress the cells much more than a 2P configuration will.Originally posted by rchippie View PostRandy what kind of runtime could i expect to get if i was only running 10s1p or 5,000 mah ?.Grand River Marine Modellers
