I tested my Drambuie On Rice this morning and got the best speed yet with it.
Setup ... 10s, Swordfish 240 hv, andym X455, Neu 2215 1.5Y for a speed of 116 kph or 72.07 mph. The main purpose of the test was to see how my silver soldering of the flex shaft held up and it gets a pass but only time will tell on that one.
Warning for Chuck... Videos below :)

Just remember guys the boat is the important thing in the picture

Enough of the Tie My Shoe on here girl. The guys are only interested in the boat

I took my new Xzess 2 to the lake this morning for its maiden voyage. To my surprise it was 3.4 kph faster than the old hull. The only difference is the new hull still has the winglets on but these will be removed before I dare to run it on 3s. The build was simple as all I had to do was transfer the bits and pieces from the old hull to the new one. I did move the motor back 6 mm to give me a little more room for the battery. I still have to shorten up the electrical leads. I am a very happy camper.
New hull
zess 2 hull, Neu 1515 0.5 Y, 2s lipo, Andym special X642 prop, Hydra 240 lv = 94.7 kph or 58.84 mph
Old hull
zess 2 hull, Neu 1515 0.5 Y, 2s lipo, Andym special X642 prop, Hydra 240 lv = 91.3 kph or 56.73 mph

nice!
xzess - on your first video i had the weirdest error. the little circle thing is actually a moving instance of a white object with multiple more grey (greyer?) objects behind it, anyways I guess it missed a few lines of code that made it orbit around a central point so it just took off and glitched around when it hit the edge of the video..
anyways, looks great!

okay, it's not as good.
my netbook can run programs that require lots of CPU better and the fan is noisy on the other one because my dad decided it would be a good idea to clean it with a vacuum cleaner (hello static)
but my netbook has had more blue screens than it has, and is really problematic from time to time, i have to reboot my router to get it to connect almost every week

If it blue screens often, you could use the BMR/ASR and eradicate your finger prints.Originally posted by Boaterguy View Postokay, it's not as good.

Oh, and the fan is probably noisy because the vacuum didnt remove all the dust buildup from the fan.. making it unbalanced..
