Until recently I could drive to the water's edge, unload the bits and chuck in a boat.
If it stopped Id grab a fishing line and tennis ball... and go fishing..
However, I discovered on Sunday the council have now erected a boat proof fenceline to stop ppls using the grassed areas .. making it a 100M slog down the slope to the water.. and an even more audibly arduous slog back up.
So much the effort I drove home boats untested on Sunday .. straight to Fleabay where I bought myself a gardencart that's going to have a 3S drive motor on rear axle.. carry an automotive battery for recharges and to drive the cart.. carry my boats and a 22" rescue mono I spied from R2Hobbies..( an unsinkable rescue craft... Im gunna test that theory out )

add rx.servo. motor and esc.
I sourced the motor+esc from HC $59USD
have a 2ch HC special at 19.99 2.4G
works out ~200AUD all up. add a 4S and away it goes. No racer.. but 'unsinkable' rescue.
Oh, btw..the esc has reverse !

The RTR needs esc, servo and batt ..
Note: I chose the bare hull and added some quality(?) equip for longevity.

My new Xzess 2 arrived this morning from Germany. You can see there is some damage to the hatch cover and going by the look of the box it happened in transit. No biggie. Apart from that it is the quality you would expect from H & M.
First thing to go will be those winglets. If you have been reading about my old Xzess 2 you will know I got a little over 86 mph out of it on 4s. This would not have happened with the winglets in place as it is well know the hull will blow over with them on. Unfortunately that old hull really needs retiring before it breaks into a million pieces. I will restore it and paint it up and hang it on the garage wall as it took me all the way from the high 30's up to the 86+ mph over approx 4 years. I might hang the wife on the wall beside it as she seems to have stopped doing the things she did before the wedding ring went on.

Yeah I only talk about the wife in jest Randy. The first thing she did when she got a job was to pay $34,000 of credit card debt I had. I have to pay her back but she does not ask for interest like the cards did. It saved me thousands. Now we own a block of land and will have 50% deposit on a house at the end of this year. A good woman? You bet!!! FE boats are better than sex anyway. We all know that.
That speed was done with a 1515 0.5Y Randy. The motor should not have held together but it goes to show just how good Neu motors.

My first wife was a good one, my second was good for 14 years and then turned feral and June is something else.
