I gave Liquid Insanity a run today. At 81.3 kph it caught some wind and ended up on its back. It was a windy day and very rough so I knew I was not going to see top speed before a blow over. Liquid Insanity is the first boat to test my JR - R1 XtremeLink 2.4 Ghz modification. That system is great. It was like I changed nothing. All the settings are exactly the same as the 36 Mhz system. You were correct about the modulation. Once I found the modulation that worked with the servos everything went well.

I will re-calibrate the esc to suit the new transmitter. I had a good think about it and I never re-calibrated it after I got it from you and I think that has to be the reason why the 1515 1y was so slow.

Paddy I think that calibration was the problem, it sounded like it was screaming after you did it. Nice sound that a 1515 on 4s at full revs!
The Whip 40 is a go, will give it a small test at the local pond and if all looks good then up to the lake on Saturday.
