    Andy,
Both parcels snuck in under the radar (she was at work when they came). Both items look new but I will soon change that. I might have a Neu sale here soon.
No boating report from the weekend as we had rain and wind both days. I hope to test the new 1515 1y and the Hydra 240 this coming weekend. Will keep you posted.
I got a little gizmo on ebay that converts my JR - R1 to 2.4ghz. It is an Xtreme Power Systems XtremeLink

I talked that guy on ebay into selling me another 10 channel JR 2.4 Ghz receiver for $40. My radio technician is making me a new antenna for that Faast receiver that I accidentally snipped. I will be able to have 4 of my 5 boats on 2.4 Ghz and that is a step in the right direction.

BTW the 1515 1.5y and Hydra 240 are in the boat and bench tested. Both working fine. Thanks for the deal M8.

Was that woman at your house last night blonde? You told her to put her clothes on so I could not see her naked on the phone and she did it. I had to

Andy while the left and the right are sleeping up there in the North East I have been finishing the repairs to my Xzess 2 off.
As the pictures will show you I took a nicely burned out Xzess 2 hull and with a bit of elbow grease and paint I have turned it into a piece of art.
The pictures will show you I went for the modern/garbage form of art. This form of art is popular among white wine drinkers all over the world. I could have done a little more sanding and filling and got the traditional perfect form of art but everyone here goes for that look. You know me, I have to be different. Anyway just in case you can not interpret my art work I will interpret it for you. If you look carefully enough (and drink enough white wine) you will see it represents the Goddess Venus looking over a mountain and wishing she could find Dolly a true lover. Another interpretation that comes to mind is " Oh what a piece of crap".
BTW the 2 shades of red represent the fact that I had been drinking when I painted and could not tell which red to use.

            From this....

            To this....

                Turn up the volume

And a little country music for me. These guys do a lot for Cystic Fibrosis sufferers in Aus.

Paddy that was not white wine you were drinking but electric koolaid! It may have looked like the Goddess Venus at the time but this is what you woke up to the next morning.

It would have looked much better if you could have stayed in the lines!

Paddy, now I get it, you morons walk arround all day looking at rocks and sand. Then you get in a party mood because you have discovered fire. I liked both songs especially Goanna's Solid Rock, it seemed some guys got it right we will bulldoze this continent but they must have run out of fuel at the last moment.

A great repair job and I am glad you managed to sneak the parcels by the "What the hell, is that more stupid toy parts and what did it cost"

Please note this is not a stab at the aboriginal peoples, just the Europeans.

Andy and I do a little business on the side Douggie. Weapons grade Uranium sales that is. That is why Andy lives where he does. I have a good supply of Heavy Water at my lake. Those Ducks glow in the dark now.
It seems you know about my wife although I think most of them are the same. If we want it, it is a toy but if they want it, it is a necessity.

Andy I took the Xzess 2 to the lake today and tested that 1515 1y and Hydra 240 out. The water was so rough that I though I should not put the boat in but I told myself I have to stop being a big girl. I could not run it flat out because of the white horses on the water but I did manage 81kph with a lot of trigger left to push. I just ran a X640 prop and done about 12 laps in 3 different sessions. The hottest temp was just 95 and that was the esc but considering I was only a little over 1/2 throttle on those laps it was good.
It was good to get a boat on the water again.

Paddy I am glad it's back in the water. I would be happy with that speed when I get my boat going.

Paddy that motor and esc will handle SAW runs with that wicked x447/3 and be over 70mph. For normal running go with the x642 that I cupped for you and it will be at or over 60.
Great to here it is all going well! Except for the wife that is.

Thanks Andy. All those props will get a go but today was just to rough to open her up a little.
It is strange that these little motors run best on the same prop my 1521 1D motor runs best on. Jan came up with a valid point when he asked me if the 1521 motor was past it's use by date. I might have to send it to you and you can give it a run in one of your boats and see what you think.
