LOL. Simon you are starting to learn more about me and one day I might IM or email you and say "Simon there is a little yellow boat coming in the mail".
That 6xl on 4s is just 9kph slower than my Xzess 2 with a Neu 1515 1.5y on 5s. I think on a per volt basis it is faster than the Neu 1515 1.5y. I will say that Andy built it quite a bit lighter than my boat with the Neu motor.

It looks good Paddy old mate, I found the 7xl fastest of all of the chinese motors. It is able to throw a lot bigger prop than a 6xl. That little 1512 I gave you was the best of all though!

You just made Simon happy. The 7xl is on its way to the land of the long white thing in the sky.
The NS3 loves the 1512.
I guess there are no pictures of your boat yet. Maybe Jess can do an artists impression of what she thinks it will be like and you can post that. We all want pictures and video of your new boat.
The SAAB died again. I am thinking of buying an E-Bike. I could add some inflatable outriggers either side and small paddles on the driving tyre and I would have my retrieval vessel for when the boats stop or blow over.

Andy,
I took my Dumas Hawk out this morning with the idea of comparing it against Mr. Krabs with a similar setup. The results are below.
Mr. Krabs....
4s M545 Neu 1521 1.5D 88.7 kph
Dumas Hawk....
4s M545 Neu 1521 1.5D 85.8 kph

It has to be remembered the Mr. Krabs speed was done after a few trips to the lake and this is the first time the Hawk has run on 4s so the speed of the old technology boat is still comparable with today's boat. That is where it ends though as the Hawk ended up upside down doing quite a slow turn and Mr. Krabs loves corners at any speed with the Taipan turn fin on. BTW the Hawk also had the Taipan fin on to keep both setups as close as I could to each other. Both boats ran the YGE Navy 200 esc also.
