This the clip with the UL-1 fin. The straight fin did not come out on video.
Is it normal to hear the hull slapping on the water? Speed is approximately 55mph as confirmed by someone's radar gun. I think if I were more knowledgeable pushing another 4-5 mph is possible.

That hull slapping is not from the turn fin, it's from the strut being too high. drop it about a 1/8" and you'll probably cure that.

I had that same gps....says water resistant...but be carful it sinks like a stone....that is from experience lol

It actually says it's waterproof so thanks for the heads up. I hopefully will not have my boat sinking anymore...

I have one as well. It's very good but I wish they are smaller though, the room in many hydro is not that much, Popeye is an exception.
