If someone who knows what it actually means can draw me a diagram of what needs to be measured from where, I'll measure mine and let people know...I read the IMPBA rule book and its a mystery to me........#6,7,and 8 of the p-sport rules are whats potentially in question..Grand River Marine Modellers

Cool. The only reason I ask is because everyone assumed that the first gen Phil Thomas Stealth hull was legal in NAMBA, but it turned out that it wasn't. I didn't want anyone to have a similar surprise with this.. especially if they are planning to bring one to the NAMBA Nats in June.Originally posted by flraptor07 View PostFrom what I've been told and from looking at the rule book it is legal for P Sport.

If I read section 6 properly that the distance for ride pads needs to be for a 32" hull between 12.8" (60%) and 16" (50%) forward of the transom (measured from the bow)...mine measures in at 14.25" to the step (ride pad).
Not sure if I did this right...so until a NASA scientist chimes in, I won't measure anymore.Grand River Marine Modellers

At the NAMBA Nats that I attended, each heat race was timed for record keeping purposes. The top 3 finishing boats from each heat were subject to teching (Measured, cell check, etc) I got teched 4 times... BUT I look shiftyOriginally posted by Doby View PostUnless you are running for records..doesn't the hosting club decide?
