They offered me a hull already to try out, but with no hardware. As I'm curious to see what there outboard will be like, I'll be holding off till the complete set is ready...I want to try it as a P-Spec legal OPC.Originally posted by ron1950 View Posthey doby heard from monica today here is what she said about the tunnel
About the outboard, yes, we intend to have a cowling covers the motor,we intend to offer three diferrent versions of the new tunnels for hobbyists, the first is a hull (just a hull without any hardwares); the second is with inboard(with hardwares and inboard motor); the third is with outboard( with hardware and outboard motor,of course the outboard with a cowl cover).
Until now, our new tunnel is no available yet, our designer and technical colleagues are researching and developing the hardwares and testing them. We estimate the new tunnel will be available for hobbyists next Spring. But we will update the development of it.
Its nice that they will be offering it in 3 different configurations.
LNP...the dimensions are: 750mm x 290mm...similar to a Aquacraft VS-1Grand River Marine Modellers

Great looking hull. I hope there will be plenty of room for Lipos. My experience with two outboard tunnels to date - [VS1 and Thunder Tiger Bandit] has been limited space for batteries. I have a HOR racing [Ex Hong Kong] outboard leg ( may be from TFL??) that would be great for this hull. I look forward to more information and seeing it sail!FE30, Kintec Pursuit, Revolt 30, ML GP400 V2, Blackjack 29 (RIP), HK Outer Limits

If it's from HOR it came from TFL. I've never put my hands on one of those legs. Looks a bit like an OS. Is it similar? That's the leg I recommended they try. They have a 36/50/2080kv motor that's really inexpensive but it's not been released in an RTR and isn't 6 pole so doesn't meet the NAMBA spec. Still working on that.
Not sure if any of you have researched the boat it was modeled after but it's quite controversial in that it's not really an outboard the way we all think of them. I'm not suggesting it should be run inboard BTW.Noisy person

Soon I hope. It would be good to see how it does with heavy P-Sport power on the 1/6th mile course before it all freezes up.

I have it on good authority that Terry has one of their hulls that isn't on their website!Grand River Marine Modellers

Current Pro Boat motors are actually only 50mm. However, if you pull all of them apart, you'll find that the rotors are, or were, the same length. Not sure if AQ has changed theirs since the last time I measured.Originally posted by T.S.Davis View PostYep 56.Darin E. Jordan - Renton, WA
