Lehner Motor Technik nowadays sells some of there motors with LK = Lüft Kühlung (=aircooling). This aircooling does not use any belt or does not take much space apart from 5mm extra length added to the canlength. If additional aircooling is necessary at all (besides watercooling in a boat) I would certainly prefer their solution.
Amazing!!

I would think you would want it directed to the back on a boat.Originally posted by Boaterguy View PostIf you could trim it or sand it properly it would be neat to put on an outrunner.
The only problem about it on a boat is that it would be pointing backwards, surgery would be needed to turn it around.IMPBA 20481S D-12

Uhh.. For it to ingest cool air the intake would need to be outside the boat, I'd imagine. If it goes topsy-turvy it would pump in (or leak in) lots of H2O methinks. Very nicely engineered piece, otherwise.2008 NAMBA P-Mono & P-Offshore Nat'l 2-Lap Record Holder; '15 P-Cat, P-Ltd Cat 2-Lap
