There a lot of flex shaft savers. But what I'm looking for is a shaft saver for a .062 Wire Drive. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know.

Very simple project for anyone with a lathe and some aluminum scrap. If you don't know anyone with a lathe, hit up Jeff Wohlt at Wohlt's RC. I'm sure he could make one for you.Vac-U-Tug Jr (13mph)

mcmaster carr has aluminum clamping shaft collars all the way down to 1/16"..... Any reason this wouldn't work? personally, I would be worried about it being unbalanced, but that's just me.
