looking for Black shrink wrap for 3S cells

Have you tried a local electric supply store? A local one here is called Butler Supply. They sell conduit, wire, etc, for electricians.

They have clear in all different sizes here at OSE. No black big stuff that I've seen.

The 3 1/4 clear Steven sales should work fine. I have some 2 5/8 and is to small I just tried.

I have some that I used to wrap some 5800mah 3s that I made from larger 6s. I would have to look for it, but I can at least check my history to give you an idea.

Nevermind, I see you found something.

What you want is PVC heat shrink. To get the size, you just find your width and height. That gives you the flat dimension. Multiply that by I'd say 1.25 to get the product you need.

So a battery that is 50mm wide and 50mm tall, only needs heat shrink that is 100mm wide when flat. So 125mm flat heat shrink is a very comfortable width that will give you plenty of shrink.
