I'll be the uninformed one What is a brand of conformal coating and do you just dip the item in it?

pick you up some liquid electrical tape. paint it on around all the seams and the board sticking out the esc. its already designed to be waterproof although mine had some gaps in it. just go around it and seal it with black liquid electrical tape and youll be fine.

Thanks. I've never tried this but I'll do it on my Castle HVs.

This won't work well on those. The T180 is designed to be waterproof. It just needs a little detail.

The best way is to make your boat waterproof, but I think liquid electrical tape is the easiest and most effective otherwise.

I race scale hydro. Blowovers and all else happen at times. To just stick my head in the sand and say it'll be all right? I'd like to try and waterproof a little better.
I'm more of a nitro racer and more new to FE. I don't even know who makes a t180 but it's not big enough for our usage, from what I'm told.
