    need a longer rudder

I need a longer rudder....hopefully one that will work on my bracket or something close I can modify to work. I only need one cooling pickup. Heres what I have. Want about an inch longer. If I have to cut if, no problem.

BTW I looked in the ose store and kintec and didn't see anything that would work.

Which one is that that you have there? I am pretty sure this bolts right in place http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80050 Looks like it at the break away point anyway(at offset) I have some here if you need to check measurements.

That ones bolts are spaced at 17mm center as are the Speedmasters. The Speedmasters part of the rudder that go into the bracket at the pivot rod are 16mm tall. Hope this helps in some way.

I would go with a Speedmaster 21, cut it to length and just do away with the offset bracket on the strut. More of a solid setup.

Thanks man! Looks like that one will fit. Ill have one on the way shortly. Just what I wanted. No idea how I kept passing that one over! I'm going to take measurements tonight to see if it will work first.

I would suggest using the SpeedMaster 40 or 60/90 rudder assemblies. Much beefier, not much weight difference, bigger/wider rudders. I run these exclusively on my full 'P' and 'Q' boats. The brackets fit perfectly on the Cheetah transom.
