For those who may have one and not know it, the American Dream was offered by DPI in the 1990s as a 1/16th Scale Hydro. It was about 21" long made of vacuum formed ABS plastic.

DPI Hobbies actually has a Facebook page, and it looked like they were back in business for a bit. Allen (Astec Models) told me he sold/sent the forms back to America. However, they don't seem to respond.

I'm not really sure... I had one of their Miss Circus-Circus / Squire Shop hulls at one point. I still have the decals from it.

Hear is some pictures, it is a nice fiberglass hull, cowl is scratch balsa and plastic, wings and feathers are plastic. The hardware mounts are drilled for fuller stuff. missing the rudder and strut stuff. Motor mount and turn fin are there. 0 001.jpg0 002.jpg0 003.jpg0 004.jpg0 005.jpg
