Not sure what your looking to do with a whip and so are you looking for gen 2 epoxy hull or wood and IMHO the backlash has taken over the water as far as hydro goes and most whip owners are selling there whips and buying backlash . That's why you see so many whips for sale . Also roxy flash from jrcbd builds backlashes 4 at the time lol and he's a GREAT builder with many wood builds under his belt !!! Good luck and sounds like a great project . I myself know nothing about FE but I'm well versed in gas!! Boats with ZENOAH engines and I'm decent with props. Good luck . I have a gas backlash built by brian, I'm looking for a wood whip (because they're relatively cheap now used) to do an FE conversion, It's not something I can race so I'm building it to "play" with and I don't want to spend a lot of time and or money on it.

I'd like to have a backlash that's built to the sealing stage if you happen to know where one is . I want a backlash GAS!! To see if I can get it to go 90mph . My sprintcats with 29.5 Zenoah engines both have gone 85 and 87mph 2way of 87.4 so hopefully the hydro would go around 90 also I'm looking to build or buy a rigged for saw as well but I'm not going to wait 1 yr on Andy Brown lolo pic of sprints , red sprint was built by Wally and I built the black one . I set both up to get those speeds but the guy Wally did teach me a lot about gas cats . He likes to here his name A LOT SO THERE YOU GO LOLO!!! I think this gps reading was the black boat. I used to keep the pic of gps reading but i don't really care about saving pic to show the world how fast my TOY BOAT GOES LOLOL!! I just like to have fun with my little boy .

I had Brian build me my Gas BL, I know he is on the expensive side though. from what people have told me the whip might be a better straight line boat, the BL is a great racing boat. I've had many sprintcats all FE .20's .40's and .90's. My .40 SC does 65 with an Offshore setup (4 minutes left and right turns) and I can prop up and do mid to high 70's. and sprint race it!!!

I have 7 Andy brown riggers 6 FE and one Nitro, they are fantastic race boats but are not SAW boats my .67 is easily 85mph but it can't even come close to my 4 cell purpose built saw rigger that averaged 111 on a 2 way pass with a fast pass of 114.

2 post and there all about me . Typical!! I like the forum and enjoy the info here and it's NOTHING LIKE jrcbd fight club . I'll only say it seams if Wally took the time to only make a negative comment about me here it shows what THIS GUY only goal is and a direct lack of disrespect for OSE . He says he goes out of his way not to in gauge in any contact to me or about me but looks like this attempt was truly intentional !!! As I said 2 post all about me and nothing else to contribute to OSE other than a blatant attack on me !!!!
