Hey Boss, the new controller you bought at a discount you asked me repeatedly for and sent back to me arrived today. I read the ESC settings, you had the timing set to 28.5 and run the Castle motor. You lucky you didn't burn it up. 5 degrees is all you need. 28 creates too much heat. Surprise it ran for 20 seconds setup like that.

The ESC works fine, I changed the timing to 5 and ran it in a Genesis today. ~55mph on 6s CC 1520 w/443 prop. Ran it for a few minutes, no problems.

You want me to send it back to you? You already paid for it and put the silicone on it.

I can't sell it as new now, so I would lose out if you demand a refund. Nothing wrong with the ESC, but now it's physically altered and used.

I only offered to sell an ESC after you had asked repeatedly for a discount, I sent you a brand new one at a discount and you've used up several hours of my time with support issues and even blamed me for a defective ESC when you didn't know how to program it. I only agreed to send you an ESC, not build your boat. How you use it is your responsibility.

I'm going to cut my losses here and wish you the best on your adventures. I just don't have the confidence that you'll accept what you've purchased and take responsibility for your installation. Asking me to cut off the capacitors because they stick out was the turning point.

I'll take the hit on the ESC, so we'll just stop here and again, I'll wish you the best of luck in finding another ESC. Please do not PM me any more support questions. There's an open forum here with plenty of folks to help get you setup.
