OOPS! Yes, 2.5D! No time to get one from the factory. It's for my 1/8 scale for the FE nats in a month from now. HEEELLLLP. Blew up the second Leopard 5692 in it last weekend. Not gonna go down that road again!

Why not a 1y on 8s or 1.5y on 10s? I think u woud like the Y winds better, Mike

I'm have to stick with 8S. No room for 5S packs. Do you think 850KV is enough? That's only 25K no load RPM. Why would I like the Y wind better?

1250kv, 1455 prop, fast. Y winds are easier on the esc!

I'll take your word for it. I know you know how to make the 1/8 scalers run!

OK, again, 1527 1Y! haha. What esc would you recommend with that setup?

Castle hydra ice hv would be the ticket. I was running my ice 200lv airplane version aircooled and it was a champ, so I know the watercooled version should be real nice!

I should think a Hydra 240HV would handle it then! Thanks Mike!

You know why I veered away from the hydra line and suggested the hydra ice line! You will pull probably 120-150 amps. Have fun, Mike

Good to know. Thanks again. Unfortunately OSE doesn't have either the 1527 OR the ICE ESC in stock! Bummer@!

Can't blame you there Mike. Let me know if you change your mind. Otherwise, I'm scrapping 1/8 scale at the NATS.

I have a new 1515 1Y. Looks like with some pretty extensive mods, I could get the 1527 in my 1/8 scale. PM me what you would like to do. Do you happen to have an 8mm x .187 coupler?
