Not in stock, hasn't been for a while and not likely to get them soon. I knew I should have bought them a ways back.

I don't think they had many in stock. I could never put more than 2 in a cart without it saying insufficient stock.

That said, Kershaw Designs sells the 1717 for $119, good deal for a great motor.

I have one I might sell also, with jacket.

And you KNOW the motors are exactly the same how? Being personally familiar with the way many of the Chinese manufacturers work, just because the motors look the same and are made in the same factory can have nothing to do with the motors being more than superficially similar. The makers will modify parts (downgrade them) to make a lower price point. Things like bearings, wire quality, winding quality and magnet quality can change without being visible - yet they lower the cost and overall performance of the motor. We have seen this more than once before, but not to my knowledge with Leopards. Bottom line is you take your chances asuming motors are the same inside because they look the same. There is a reason things cost less and it isn't always a greedy seller.

Yep. Back when I owned Hurricane Flight Systems, I personally went to China to the factory and spec'd many changes to the motors we wanted to sell. BEST bearings, BEST high temp magnets, etc. and distinctive color. Hobbyking now sells motors in the same case so they look the same except color but they have crappy cheap bearings and magnets. HUGE difference in power and longevity. BUY THE REAL THING IF YOU CAN!
