    WTB: Steerable outrunner

Need a steerable outrunner for a rescue craft.

Don't need a motor, just a drive that will take a 540 brushless. Something that wouldn't be so hard to adapt to move some PVC and bring a boat back in.

A motor cover is a plus. Think salt water.

Can trade just about anything or pay $$.

Hehe. Just noticed I said outrunner instead of outdrive. (outboard)

That's a possibility, can you take some photos of the motor mount area?

What do ya want for it?

Won't need it to be a screamer, but will need it to handle a 540 25mm spaced motor.

its set up for 540 cans with 1/8" shafts and 25mm spacing. I'll take some better pics of it tonight. If you want to trade stuff, I need a 36mm xl sized brushless motor in the 1900-2200Kv range.

What would it take to go 5mm shaft?

          I have a 2075 3674 from a stock genesis new.

you would have to either get a 5mm 48 pitch pinion, or change the bigger pinion on the main shaft.

                Sure, here's the motor:

Google Chrome can translate it to english

It came in my stock Genesis, never been used. I have a water jacket that can go with it.

Sounds like a deal if you want to swap, I'll get the motor from the attic and ship it today.

Let me know the tooth count on the motor pinion and the shaft size/tooth count on the main shaft.

This should be fun. Never worked with an outboard.

Pm me your addy . You wouldn't happen to know to max amp draw or wattage of the motor would you? I didn't see it listed on the site. The main shaft is 4mm and gearing it 18/22. Oh and I put a tamiya 540 can in there so the pinion isn't floppin around.

                          Pai ma pi.

I don't speak or read Chinese, but I do know there is usually more accurate information in the google translations than in the website creators translations (english button), so typically use the google translator on the chinese pages. Several other websites for chinese manufacturers have much more information on their Chinese pages.

I do however appreciate you pointing out the English button Charlie Sheen style.

                          DUH! Winning!

Guess I should get the motor down from the attic and get some actual photos. I think I can get the right gears for this outboard.

                            Mike,
If you like, the mounts and the rails can go with the motor. I also have the mates to the bullets on the motor.

                            Let me know.
