Sounds like you will need the 1774 kv for 5S. The 2000kv would put you up to 37k rpm and thats a bit too much unless you just want to make short runs.

I doubt you can keep 5s running on the water in a Pursuit. It would be too heavy and hard to fit in the hull. IMO, 2000 kv leopard on 4s would be very quick and easily balanced. A ul-1 on 4s would also be a good choice for this hull. I also hope you have plans to stiffen the floor and sides when upgrading the power to this level. BGComment
