Wanting a leopard 4082 1500kv

Wanting to buy a good running leopard 4082 1500kv with cooling can if anyone wants to part with one, im running a seaking 180amp esc on 3s so let me know what ya have, this is a genesis build so im using the factory motor mounts and shaft cable.

Thats a very low kv motor for 3s...

Personaly I would run that motor on 6s, but it depends how fast you want to go. I would imagine a 1500kv motor on 3s would struggle to get out of the 20's though. 3s is a low voltage for that large of a hull.

this hull isnt that much longer than the geico and narrower than it.....im wondering if you guys are thinking of something else? just need to score on a motor and cooling can now.

Thanks,still a work in progress it has Faza/Abarth wider fender flares,rear fiberglass spoiler deck,intake snorkel on top of engine cover,coilovers,Corbeau racing buckets etc etc.Still need to install a nice alum upgraded radiatior so i can install a custom turbo system.Then paint!!!......like it is still turns heads everywhere i go!!!.....thanks for the compliments,....Albert

Well i ran yesterday and today, ran a 38mm prop and got 40.7 mph, today i put on a octura x640 and hit 50 mph on 180 seaking and stock motor, gonna try a rudder adjustment and see if i can blow her over, handled very well!

Up the KV slightly to like 1650 for 6S. The leopards can handle it.

I'll be very surpised if you get 10mph out of a prop up on the stock motor. Make sure you keep an eye on temps with the larger prop. The limit of the stock motor is the inability to turn a larger prop efficiantly.
