WTB cheap rc truck esc

Hi guys,i`m fixing my friends son toy grade rc truck.Already changed the radio to an HPI unit i have laying around.Now i need to change the esc as this one is cutting power while at full throttle.
All in all im just doing a favor(gave him my HPI AM radio for free) and theres not much money to spend and i know many of you guys race crawlers,truggies etc and probably went brushless.So if you have that cheapo brushed esc laying around doing nothing please lmk what you have and price.......thanks much,....Albert

i would rather keep them together. i dont have a use for just a brushed motor. maybee try hobbyking or the bay for a cheap one

What scale it the vehicle? 1/18th, 1/10th? You say brushed, how many amps approx.

It looks to be in the 1/18 range.As i mentioned its a "toy grade" rc truck to which i`m fixing its cheap electronics until the kid finally destroy it......lol.Its got what it looks like a 540 brushed motor and it runs on one 7.2 nimh pack......Al
