Looking for a new or slightly used Leopard 4082 1600kv motor. ANYONE?

Castle is a better built motor. The Castle factory get's better rice at lunch than the Leopard factory.

The leopard 40 x 82 = castle 1518, 42 x 83

The 1520 is a bigger motor and more powerful. 42 x 89mm

Leopard is a copy of Castle. Which is a copy of a Neu... sorta.

I have heard that leopard is actually the company that builds the Neu/castles...not sure if its true or not. I have been thoroughly impressed with Leopard so far though. The 2 4082's I have are powerhouses, and the extra long 4074 jackets steve sells work great on them.

There's a thread on it here somewhere, where they are torn down and compared. The Leopard definitely uses some substandard parts from the Castle, but that doesn't mean they aren't good motors.

They are not made by the same company according to Castle.

They do but not the 1600kv wind. I know because I just got their last one last Friday:)
Dan emailed me saying they were out of stock, then emailed me back saying he actually had one left and would send it. I'm not sure how long it takes them to re-stock but hopefully Steve gets them soon so we can buy right here at OSE.
