I guess I just think differently. I usually post the lowest price just to sell it. If I am in the market to buy and I think a price is to high I don't bother even asking about it.
I would also like to know what exactly is the member discount from Tower. I look on the site and it only mentions free shipping. I already get emails on the discounts.

They send you an email with different discount dollars. For a $250 item, you get free shipping, and $50 off.

That's not the American way! Most people post a higher price than they will take so they can come down when the offers come out! Seems to work better that way. Makes both sides happy. Bargaining, horse-trading, bickering, is in our blood because basically Americans are CHEAP! Hahah. No offense guys! I'm a CHEAP American too.

Yep. I get at least one a month. For example, I bought a UL-1 for only $260 delivered to my door! Over $300, take $60 off and free shipping! I've been thinking about picking up a used supervee just to run with a bunch of guys in the club that have them. I really don't like the Supervee. It drives me crazy what people want for them that are beat up and worn out when using the special discounts from Tower, I can get a brand new one, delivered to my door, for $209! Doesn't make sense to pay $175-$200 for an old dog!

The asking price is just that. Why come into someones thread and go on and on about where you can get it for less. His price depends on what it is worth to HIM. Compared to purchasing new at OFE, it is a deal - AND you are supporting a fellow boater.

I don't think comments that compare sellers are appropriate nor cool at all and should be kept as internal dialog. Wolf is a valid seller and should be left to sell his item at whatever price he wants without harassing.

I would also like to appologise to Wolf for my comments on towers members club prices.....my comments were not really directed to you but were a rebuttle to line6's comments that you could not get $60 off as someone else claimed

Wolf, no disrespect for you was ever intended. Somebody asked if you would match the Tower $205 price. We just tried to explain how it works. Then you told me to Beat it, etc. If I put something up for sale and it's overpriced I WANT somebody to tell me that and then tell me why. Sometimes that's the only way to know what something is worth and if I truly want to sell the item, I will lower my price. That's all we were trying to do.

(I) and most people on here would feel that my listed price was a deal, considering i was already loosing as i purchased it from OSE wich was also a fair price. when someone posts a sell thread either respond with an offer or dont. if you dont like the price (so what)! thats (YOU) ..ALSO, DONT GO TO OTHER SELL THREADS AND ADD YOUR COMMENTS OF HOW " ANOTHER SELLER ON HERE IS OVER PRICED BLA BLA BLA..YOUR JUST CAUSING DRAMMA.
