I was thinking this motor would be more suitable to the HV240 from you.
My soon to arrive 3080 should have a larger esc in my 67" mono.
A DF Sniper, this motor, the HV240 on 12s would be a smoking combo I would think.

You know all electrical components are filled with smoke. It's when the component let the smoke out you have a problem

Hi Guys,

If I was going to set a boat up with this motor it would be a Sniper on 8S2P spinning a 6717/3. 70mph all day long.

But then again what do I know about running big boats.

Anbjorn in your PM about the thrust bearing on the motor question I will answer here since its easier to post a picture . I never use a thrust bearing on the motor..........only on the strut.....I don't need to since I use a square end ferule and square end flex shaft on all my boats . this is exactly how the gas boats have there's also and it has worked great for me . Maybe post the question on here ( this forum ) if others use thrust bearing on there 22xx motors . I'm sorry I really don't know . In 20 years of boating my drives have always floated either at the strut or on the motor
