    Looking for 8mm Carbon Rod

Hello all! I'm hoping someone can help me locate some shorter lengths of 8mm carbon rod, preferably solid core. Longer lengths are OK as well.

If you know where to get it, please let me know!

Thanks bustitup! That link you provided has some different options, but I really need 8mm for this application.

        I'm waiting in anticipation!

Thanks for all the input guys!

I believe the .312" may work and depending on how it goes, I may consider the tubing vice the solid core.

bustitup, I'm an archer, but I don't remember any of my carbon arrows being that size. I believe some of the aluminum ones may be. Was that a guess or do you have knowledge of their diameters? It could be that there are larger diameter ones for crossbows. I only use a compound bow or a long bow, depending on the game hunted.

I thought about filling it, but I was concerned about the proper cure, among other things. Plus, I figure it would probably be better to go with solid. I've also considered running another rod inside, but at that point, I stopped pondering it as I thought I was overthinking the solution. I seem to do a lot of that.

None in metric sizes but maybe if you call and ask Bob or Barbara they may be able to steer you towards metric sizes
