I'm looking for a long aluminum water jack for a 24 mm diameter brushless motor.
All recommendations welcome!
Thank you.

They are very easy to make out of 3 layers of CF and couple O-rings

Was that an offer? LOL
I'm not sure I have the time or the skill not to have it leak. Or for that matter, for it to end up cylindrical!
Thanks though!

tell me how many mm you want (i.d.) and you find your own 0-rings and i will make you one free
I would just silicone the orings after the unit is installed on the motor to insure no leaks

Cool. This is a project that is still out about a month. As soon as I get the appropriate motor, I'll give you a buzz.
Thanks!

want me to go ahead and make one thats about 1/4" bigger than 24mm?
that would give you 1/8" clearance all around the motor
or wait till you confirm the motor you get?

Yeah, I'd say wait for the moment. This is still in the future. Thanks!

Mini Cat Racing sells 24mm cooling jackets. That's the size of the motors in their new Velocity Series boats. You can order it here:

Ah ha! I remembered seeing that, but only after you mentioned! My memory fails me the rest of the time.
What is the length?

The jacket is 27mm long but cools the 48mm long motor just fine.
