received the 11xl today and when I opened the box and pulled the motor out the endbell was laying in the bottom of the box....I stuck it back on and hope it stays

I am not sure why it was off, I ran the motor in my boat before it was shipped out to you! Sorry for the trouble it may have caused. It should pop right back into place though!

I think I know why and you might want to make adjustments to your packing
there was just a very small amount of bubble wrap around the motor and it was flopping around in the box.....it may have took a hit (maybe droped) and hit the shaft dead on and popped off the endbell..in the future pack your goods solid so the item can move..even just some wadded up news paper will work

Strange, I just got my package today and I have the exact same problem endbell was completely off?? but it was packed with just shredded newspaper just newspaper.

I will check it out tomorow.

I am not sure how they both came off. I've never removed them for anything. They must have got beaten up pretty hard during shipping for thise to come off. If they don't work let me know because they have $100 worth of insurance with shipping on them. Sorry for the trouble!

Ok, I tested out the xpower and the 7L and I have both working. I had to reprogram the xpower to work they way I wanted so all is good! Thanks!
