Hi Ken,Originally posted by KAF1 View PostI'm interested in the package. I have 2 vee hulls. One is a 65" MHZ FOUNTAIN and a 70" Outerlimits hull. Would these motors be suitable for any of those hulls?
Thanks for your help.
Ken
Both of those hulls are large enough to fit these motors. I purchased them to build a twin 92" Radtek/HPR233, however my plans changed and I ended up selling all the parts off individually. There have been a few builds, especially the Fountain, in which they used these size motors, even in twin configurations. There's a ton of room in them to fit. I had a 60" Outerlimits that was setup as a twin with 2 5035 Scorpions and still had room to boot. Room is not an issue, and power is certainly not a problem with these motors. Balance is everything when going this large of a hull. A forum friend/member named Rockstar also did a twin 59" Outerlimits ( https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com...t-Voltaic-quot) and another mutual friend Keith Bradley (KBB Boats) also did a large vee hull with similar setup and both of them were like rockets. Do a search for both members and you should find plenty of references to do some research on building a few large scale hulls. At the time, the three of us were building the largest hulls on the forum. Thanks for the question, JJ
