Proboat Zelos Twin 36 hull and canopy

    SOLD

I am in the process of swapping over all of my hardware and electronics to a new Zelos 36 hull and have decided to sell what was to be a spare. The hull and canopy appear to be in excellent condition from topside. Most of the cosmetic issues are underneath. I ran this boat up onto a shallow rocky shore while turning too wide at a new lake. It knocked the rudder back (shear pin broke) and I scraped up my props pretty good. Miraculously, the only damage to the boat were some deep scrapes along the sponson bottoms and two good chips closer to the front on the leading edge of the right sponson. No cracks, no holes, all gelcoat related. I filled in everything with JB Weld epoxy, sanded down, and had it back in the water the following weekend. I never even bothered to paint the repaired areas because the boat looked like new as soon as it hit the water. The canopy has minor cracks in the gelcoat at each hatch screw and one chip above the cockpit. There is no fiberglass damage at these spots, just the hairline gelcoat cracks from being over tightened when I first got the boat.

The hull comes with both stuffing tubes, teflon liners, cooling pick-ups and outlets, foam floatation pieces, and epoxied mounts for the electronics tray and motor mounts. ***Electronics tray and motor mounts now included*** What you see is what comes with it, nothing more. $140, paypal. You cover the cost of shipping from Chicago to your address. I estimate the total shipping weight to be around 15lbs, and an appropriately sized box. Hull will be wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed in foam peanuts for safe shipping.

Put a few coats of yellow touch-up paint on the epoxy repair spots. Not perfect, but less conspicuous for the bottom of a boat anyways.

I wish you could do it for $150 shipped to FL. Then I can show my wife how much a complete RTR Zelos 36 cost and tell her I have a chance to get it for $150.. . .A GREAT DEAL I'll say. But I have to show her the pictures quickly in hopes she won't notice it's not a complete boat but only the hull. LOL As of now she said she better not see a big long box on our front door. . .for a long time. But it's my 55th B-DAY next month so she might make an exception. .you think?

I won't eat shipping. Good news is, I'm in IL, about as central as it gets. I can shop both UPS and FedEx if you get me a zip, commercial address would also be cheaper than residential.

UPS is by far the cheapest, and my discount helps. $45 via ground, insured.

Is it $45 for residential or for commercial address? If $45 is for a residential then will it be cheaper or even free shipping if it's going to a business address? I'm assuming you're going to ship it through your work?
