$250 each plus $10 shipping for entire purchase. (Price reduced to $235 ea for fast sales.)
That's over 15% off $300 price from dealers.

That's totally up to you. Per descriptions... the Swordfish 240s can handle up to 12S. From there you need to figure out what kind of boat, motor, and prop you will be putting in it and the amp draws.
Personally, given the weight of the 240 verse the 300 is the same I'd go with the 300. Cheaper to spend a little more now then have to replace it later because you pulled a few more amps than the 240 can handle.

There is no calculation you can do, if that's what you area asking. There are way to many factors involved including things that can't be accounted for. These is why there is data logging in some ESCs. You will get to pull the data once up and running to see what your amp draw is.

That's alright... but no one can delete posts on OSE but the moderators.
If you post a question under building or maybe electronics esc you may get some advice. What I can say is that there is no black and white answer to your questions. You could build a boat, put a certain prop on it and it does 60mph and pulls 225 amp. But then you decide to prop up to get 70mph and its now pulling 275 amps. This is why I say I'd go with overkill on the esc. This 300a gives you more room for growth and experimenting with no weight gain in the boat.

How long have you had these ESCs? Does the warranty transfer?

I've had them a little under one year. I don't believe the warranty is transferable.

Yes, the factory warranty is for 1 year from date of purchase from an authorized dealer.
All info on such questions can be found directly on the hifei website.
