If you really desire the item, pull the trigger first, then ask the questions. I have accumulated quite a few number of boats that I have seen in other people's possession over the years and knew that they were hot items, so I stick with this mantra and the success rate is rather very high.

I didn't want it. My uncle wanted it, and he's not on the forum, so I was scouting it for him. He wanted to know more about it before he paid for it.
Well, there's our dilemma. We never received more info. on the boat, just a prompt (behind the scenes): "SOLD"

well the person who bought it, had asked one question, then said theyd take it based on the answer to that one question. and he was the first to respond to the post.

actually if you re-read, everyone that was interested had made requests for other info....so the first person by default per rules would have it then the next down the list.

Like I said, "interest" and "intent to buy" can be two different things, leaving it up to interpretation. Plenty of people come on here showing "interest", with only the intent of making a lowball offer.

Unfortunately the original post was a bit lacking on information, making things a bit tricky.
