    Lehner 2280/7 6 wire motors

    These are still for sale

It absolutely breaks my heart to put these up for sale but I will never use them this year or the next - These are brand new with zero hours on them . the KV in the 7 turn trim is 1057 rpm per volt and 617 rpm per volt in the 12 turn trim . also included is a custom made copper triangle at the rear for the slower 12 turn trim .

I have to mention the KV is slightly higher on one motor but Lehner claims up to a + or - 3% deviation on motors
I am asking $500.00 each + what ever it costs to ship to the buyer. They cost me $600.00 + shipping each from Germany

I think it was about the dual kv nature of the 6 wire Lehner motors . That was 7 months ago

                Hi Peter,
Would you know what the estimated HP of the motors are? I'm not really concerned about the dual kv as it would allow me a bit of difference in prop size and battery selection. I would be installing them in a 92" hull in dual config and need a higher HP output to push her along. Battery selection would be between 10s and 12s. Thanks ahead, John.

The motors are really nice, and can push a 50+ inch cat to around 100mph would not consider to use in a 92" hull, if looking at lehner then maybe in the 3060-3080 series

Does the 2280/5 also come with a water cooling jacket?
