Better read the rules:-

Well i thought i would do the right thing & help a guy out as i had been watching this boat for a couple of days. Im only new to getting into electrics but have a large fleet of gas boats. Well i hope this is not the way things are done here cause i already have been down this road before . I was thinking about buying the carbon cat from this guy too to have the shipped togeather. But now i dont think so.

nmnorth (Bill) Contacted me via phone call when he found out the boat was for sale. I do not believe we broke any rules by finalizing the deal over the phone because it does not mention anything about that in the for sale rules. I also wanted to note Bill was the first to show interest in buying the boat as a whole. I had a lot of people asking about parting it out but that was not my original intent when I started this tread so I do not think that should really count as a "offer" when somebody makes a offer on just one of the components.

Also I Never accepted 41willys offer because he wanted "batteries , spare props etc & a esc programmer" and that was not part of the original asking price. Also he is located in Australia where I'm located in Portland Oregon USA. I guess i should it made it more clear in my original post but International shipping is something I do not prefer to do mostly and mostly for that price. My original price was calculated for domestic shipping.

Even though i do not have very many post I been on this board since the beginning of offshoreelectronics and I really do not wish to break any rules or cause any drama. I always try and sell my used RC boats on this forum before trying eBay or Craigslist just because i believe we are a great group of guys that have a passion for this hobby. Also the Holidays have been extremely busy for me like most other people so I only been able to sit down at the computer once a day to update my tread and return PM's. I guess me having a slow response might be a small cause to this whole ordeal.

I hope this explains everything and I'm not in any trouble. Let me know if you have any more questions. Hope everybody has a great Happy New Year.

The extra money for shipping is not a problem as you only had to tell me. As far as batteries etc i asked cause i had nothing to begin with & needed for the boat to run but also asked you in a PM if it ran on 6s but no reply from you. I dont have props or program cards so i asked. I said i would take the boat & IT WAS NOT AN OFFER! all you had to do was tell me that you didnt want to sell the other gear or let me know how much extra you wanted. It sounds to me you couldnt be bothered to send it to australia.
Well looks like i might have to stick to gas boats as im getting the raw prawn on electrics.

I can see both sides of this and it is unfortunate but I personally read Shane's offer to buy as being conditional "if" batteries etc. added to the deal and it was never agreed to that I can see. Next post Shane is asking for PP so I assumed they had worked a deal out via

I have a large supply of props, lipos, motors, esc's, mono hardware sets, a NIB AQ Revolt, a NIB Mean Machine with two lids and hardware and a RICO 31 hull and hardware which previously housed your new Plettenberg.
