Pair of LMT 1940/7 LK w. 5mm shaft and water jackets

    Hello Guys,

I've got a set of LMT Lehner 1940/7's for sale. They are in excellent condition with 5mm shaft, air cooling and brand new water jackets. All threads in the front endbell are untouched as I mounted it with two support brackets from LMT.

    -total w. priority shipping/insurance to USA: 475€ or 580$
(list price on www.lehner-motoren is 800$ for the pair)

    EDIT:
Used in my HPR06 Repsol with good results, topspeed with 5S 5000mAh each was 96mph. Here a couple of videos:

    regards,

Motors look good, about how much run time would you say is on them? And where they ever run single? Another words any single drive usage where one ha more time than other. I know this isn't your style Manuel running singles but just thought if ask. As I may want these for my 114 mystic to upgrade from my 4082 2200 kv Leo's. How much better are we talking in comparison with my motors?

      Hi,

I'd say overall runtime is difficult to tell. But they were only used in my HPR06 Repsol for maybe about 60 runs. So not used independent of each other. Also have the same production date engraved in the can.
For the comparison: To be honest I don't think you can expect the same performance as with Leopard 4082/1.5Y. On 6S you'd be faster and on 5S almost as fast as with the Leopard on 6S. The Lehner will perform very well but it will get definitely warmer, especially on 6S. That has nothing to do with a bad motor, the Lehner 1940 is simply WAY smaller than a Leopard 4082. I mean the LMT is rated at 290g, the 4082 at 485g, thats 70% (!).
So let me explain it the following way: Thats the cool about Lehners, with very small and lightweight motors you can already get a good performance like you can see in the video above. A Lehner 2240 would have still less weight than a Leopard 4082 but would outperform it without doubts.

      regards,
      Manuel

Thank you for the explanation, I'm not familiar with Lehner motors and you gave me a great description. Seems as I'll stick with the motors I have for now they perform well for me as matter of fact 99.6 mph today with 6cell is plenty fast for me and when she flipped I nearly lost all breath but Thanx to carbon Kevlar I was spared any cracks. However I will be reinforcing soon I dont think I'll be lucky on every flip.
Any way good luck with the sale !!
        Be well,
        Phil
