Venom Segad (EKOS) Dual Drive - Nearly New

Up for sale is a practically brand new Venom Segad RTR with Radio. I bought this boat from another member on OSE and ran it only once. He ran it only 4 times so it is practically brand new. It is clean, lubed, packaged in the original box, and ready to hit the water. The props have been upgraded to the Venom CNC red metal props. The connectors have been upgraded to 5.5mm bullets and I have also included a set of EC5 connectors and some other miscellaneous goodies. The only downside it is a small clip on the starboard sponson. I am selling to fund a larger project.

Is that a chip or a hole, its hard to tell from the pic, does it leak?

It's more like a chip than anything else. The guy I bought it from said it was factory blemish and no it does not leak. I tested the chip and it is sealed. After my one run I had a few drops of water in the hull which I traced back to the control rod. I have since added a silicone ring around the rubber boot which should resolve the issue.

What did you run lipos and how was the speed?

I ran 2 SPC 3S 5400mAh 50C battery packs. I am not sure of the speed as I did not GPS it. It is not as fast as my Mystic, but that is modded with a Leopard 4074, Seaking 180, and Octura 445 prop. It did run smoother than the Mystic does (zero bounce).

Boat arrived today

So The boat showed up today. Packed very well and double boxed. No damage to inside box or boat. Thank you Neubs even included new batteries for the tx. Boat is as new,chip seems easy to fix if needed. I will have to solder up some new bullets because I use bigger bullets on my boats but other than that should be good to go. I will get her wet tomorrow and see why people hate this boat I have read all the posts on this thing so I am not going in blind, I think for the money and for what I intend to do with it it will be fine for me. I know it isn't going to be be a 60mph boat out of the box so no problems. Maybe when I finish my other projects I will go with a single motor and drive,and beef up the hull a bit. I would not hesitate to deal with this seller. Going to leave feedback next.
