I only mentioned pay pal fees because buyers were offering less than what I listed it at. 165.00 plus 20.00 for shipping (a real bargain). I will not receive 185.00 which is fine with me (paypal takes there small amount, about 3 %, which is fine with me. I like paypal).

I dont see that post. So it was either deleted or my phone didnt post it.

The rules say a seller cant ask for it to be a gift. Doesnt say a buyer cant offer to send as a gift. Im an adult and I know the risks of such a situation, and as a buyer if Im OK with these risks that should be my business. I fully understand the intent of the rule from a sellers perspective.

Basically there was a misuderstanding. Money was refunded yet pay pal has placed a hold on it. I just got other money today to make good on deal while pay pal holds onto my 175

Jim take a minute and read that rule.

It says sellers can't ask for it. Doesnt say buyers can't offer it.

If in fact no gifting is allowed the rules should read that.

You are correct wasn't sure if he asked for it or not. Just trying to make transactions as trouble free as possible. I personally will not do a gift as there is no recourse with paypal if things go sour
