I'm selling my snap on verdict diagnostic system. Getting out of automotive industry. If you know anything about automotive scanners then you know this is the top of the line! Comes with all original charging cables and hard carry case. Paid over $8000 and they still sell for $7795 plus tax! Installed is windows embedded w/service pack 3. This is the 2nd gen verdict with the updated wireless module and atlas diagnostic software suite (version 2.1.1.2379) Scanner currently updated to version 11.2.1. Comes with LED digital volt meter which is also a 2 channel lab scope with Bluetooth binding to scanner for hands free electrical diagnostics. I also have the optional dock station with power cord which allows for easy recharge and option to hook up a larger external monitor for better viewing from a distance (i.e; front of vehicle) this is the Mercedes of automotive scanners, a must have for the serious auto tech. Do these scanners program ECM's for example changing an ecm for a newer GM which the dealer uses the GM tech 2 scanner if i'm not mistaken?

Yes, there is a flash module to connect to the Verdict scanner. You have to pay a fee to GM for a 1 day pass or a 1 month pass to download the flash to the scanner, and then proceed to flash the ECM.

You interested in shipping to Canada at all? If so, I can ask my buddy who is starting up a shop if he'd be interested. Would also need to confirm that snap-on won't have any issues transferring the ownership to a Canadian address.

I have spoken to my Snap On rep several times concerning the sale. He has stated to me transfer of ownership is not an issue in N.America. I have had several offers over the past year but have had to turn them all down as they were either low balling or they were oversea's. I have since left automotive repair and now work for the city as a heavy truck mechanic and just don't have a need for it any longer. I have been paying on it (Snap On credit) the entire time and haven't missed a payment since I bought it. It needs to go to a good home and be used. Still in it's case not collecting dust still like new. It will need to be updated if you want to bring it up to the current automotive year but it is still capable of 2011 vehicles. I'll see him tomorrow for more clarification and get back to you.
