1996 Miss DeWalt 1/10th Scale Unlimited

1996 Miss DeWalt 1/10th Scale Unlimited Hydroplane. Built originally by Jeff Howard, updated and modernized by me.

Boat's construction is wood over foam, with carbon reinforcing inside. Hull is VERY solid and extremely light. I'll weigh it again, but I think it was under 5lbs, RTR (with batteries).

Hardware includes Speed Master rudder, .078 wire drive with stainless strut assembly, Octura coupler, OSE motor mount, Custom made 7075 Turn-fins (one NAMBA legal, the other used for Classic Thunder events), Pro Boat Miss Geico motor and Pro Boat 60A ESC.

I just recently updated the cowling with new mounting and better water shielding, and built a new horizontal stabilizer with new vacuum formed parts from Jeff Howard.

I'll also include a new spare .078 wire drive shaft, a prepped X447-R prop (which is the one that I use on this), as well as a can of the matching Yellow paint.

This boat is BEAUTIFUL, and is extremely fast. It corners better than any hydroplane I've ever driven, and is just simply a dream to drive, and is usually running at the front of the pack.

    $450.00 plus shipping.

Buyer will be responsible for actual shipping costs. I'd expect shipping to be upwards of $50.00, do to the size and packaging requirements to make sure it arrives safely, and insurance. (shipping costs on large packages have really skyrocketed lately...)

However, you are getting a HELL of a boat for the money.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

These are nice boats. I check Classic Thunder's For Sale page often but never see anything new. Is there another spot to view 1/10th scales for sale? Thx
