HK Vanquish - NIB + 1717 Motor Mount

NIB, just like the title says. Exactly as shipped from HK. This one has a nice paint job but needs some rails/fiberglass reinforcement.

I just don't have time for it. I have an Osprey on deck so this one can go. Was planning to make a salt water boat out of it, but decided not to.

1. The fiberglass is a little weak on this model since it does not have rails, it should be reinforced with a CF or FG layup for strength. At the same time it will straighten the bottom of the hull. This is the same on all Vanquish hulls.

2. The Osprey is made by TFL hobbies and is the hull which the Vanquish is a copy of. They are nearly identical except the Vanquish is a copy of the Osprey.

3. It's the FC Aluminum CNC motor mount with rails; see photo. It's niiiiiiice.

I think the DSM2 / DX3s Marine is what I'll want to work with the mr3000 rx.

I'll also want to bind it to the HK rx's.

Clearly I have a lot to learn about DSM.

DX3s = DSM, Telemetry, Marine
Dx3r = DSM2, No Telemetry, Not Marine

The HK Orange Rx's are DSM2

From this information, it doesn't look like the DX will do what I want.

I wanted to have Telemetry on certain rx's and use the generic or marine Rx's on other systems. Guess I'll have to do more research on which tx/rx setup will suit my needs.

That's a confusing situation. Maybe I should just wait on the trade and keep the hull for sale.

actually, I only have the traxxas ho 2.4 and I've never had an issue. The rx's are kinda pricey though. But available everywhere if needed.

Was just thinking of a solution that would be more mainstream and have some telemetry options to work with.

Looks like I'll wait till more telemetry get's mainstream.

Wouldn't a DSM2 receiver be backwards compatible with a DSM transmitter?
Is there an HK receiver that will work with a DX3S?
