Miss Geico epoxy hatch (white)

EDIT: 5/26 Still available as Ray is going w/ another one of my hatches that will work better on his project.

I make these on "as needed" basis when people want one, and ocassionally something goes wrong and I make another one. I pulled this hatch out too early from the mold and some of the topcoat cracked and chipped off. Theres also two mysterious demples (one on each intake) that will require very little filler. The main issue is on top of the left intake (see pic), there was also a small blem on the verticle surface of the lip near the front and also in the back (also on pics). The ones on the lip will sand out, the blems on the intakes will need to be filled.

These blems are striclty cosmetic and have nothing to do with structure.

I sell these for $65.00 shipped. Being this one is cosmetically blemished, Im asking $45.00 shipped CONUS for this one.

So you just want it flat to the sides.. Its going to have some curve to it front to back... Would the BJ26 lid work better for what your trying to do?

Actual hatch dim is 6.5" wide by 13.25" long. The bubble is almost exactly the same height (BJ has a scoop on it though) and the same length, but is 1" wider, 4.5" vs. 3.5"

As for scoops, Im still experimenting w/ the best way to lay them up and havent really had time to mess w/ them. I can lay up the halves for you to work w/ and assemble. They would be raw resin, w/ out the white topcoat.

Yes they are $45 w/ the epoxy top coat, but thats not shipped. Scoops I can do as a test set, un-assembled for $10.00. Once I get them figured out they will be in the $20.00 range for the set.

Id have to lay it up as a regular hatch then just cut off the lip instead of where it would normally be cut. I cant lay it up w/ out the lip if thats what you mean.

Just let me know what you want to do. I cant lay up the BJ hatch and intake scoops until possibly tomorrow afternoon if not definitley Friday. Then its up to you how long you want me to wait to ship it. Earliest it could go out is Monday.

Looking at your hull again, what are the dims of your hatch, length width? Will a HOTR hatch fit it?

NO HOR will not fit. I will be doing some grafting.

So, no lip needed, dimensions are great on the BJ type hatch.

Just lay it up normal and cut it off taking it out is fine.

No worry on the scoops now. I can wait.

If you have some scrap MsG scoops I would take them but, not needed right at this time.

I actually just cut some off a hatch 2 days ago but one needs some work. Let the PVA sit in the mold too long and it shrunk and popped loose in one of the scoops. I layed it up anyway knowing I was going to cut them off. Ill send them as well. Looks like Im laying up the hatch tomorrow. Ill let you decide when you want it shipped as I know you wanted to wait a week or so on the Geico hatch.
